The big debate over Jeter vs. Mauer for MVP.   I like Joe Mauer and understand what he has accomplished as a hitter especially given the fact he plays the catcher position. My vote as CEO of SKLZ goes to Derek Jeter for the following reasons.

 

I know it is a one year award, however, his overall career stats give him the nod. He plays for the most talented baseball team in the world. His leadership of the Yankees is one of the most difficult you can imagine. He is the poster child for how a professional athlete should conduct themselves on and off the field.  And finally he is a SKLZ endorser. Well I guess that ties him with Mauer on that account.
